Bairn Bonding / Pregnancy Dreams
It seems, when a woman is pregnant, that her dreams are so much more powerful and that much
more intense with fear or anxiety...so much passion and emotion, pure stuff of Soul, swirling around in the air and in the
belly. Dreams come with fierce intensity, sometimes several a night and it seems that she could go mad unless she can
make sense of those complex and fearful metaphors. At times, the dreams foretell the sex of the child, as if the babe
comes to the mother for reassurance and love, to show that there IS truly a being within Her. I've been there, frantically
writing every dream down, knowing that AT least...at the very least...they are written, told. Over the past year I've
received many dreams from women (and sometimes the mothers of these pregnant mothers) begging for reassurance that the ill
dreams are not bad omens for the upcoming birth. Many are wonderful, yet truly terrifying, but knowing what I know,
the language that I speak, these dreams come to the mothers as powerful motivators to heal before the wee bairn is born.
If I can offer any sort of reassurance and love...blessings for the upcoming birth,
I will. But I encourage you to keep a dream journal and write them all down, this at least will bring peace. Know
that the nightmares force the mother to face her deepest fears NOW, so that she may face the upcoming labor with a renewed
strength and sense of Self, a sense that she can move through the pain of emotion and birth another Soul into this world free
from the past trauma. A soul retrieval, like the ancient shamanic healings, to bring back the lost soul part ("I
feel as though a piece of me is missing, gone...since that fateful day") so she may be present for her new babe.
Send me your dreams and I will help if I can. I am also offering a piece of my self, my time,
to bringing forth a new profession (or Place rather) for these pregnant mothers seeking dream therapy during their pregnancy.
My link is below if you are interested. I will work on a sliding scale, asking only what you can afford to give.
And if you live in my area, we can meet.
See my site for offering dream work services to pregnant couples.
